What stage of the college process are you in?
I am in the stage in the college process where I have already attended orientation and met my college counselor at CCSF. I would say that my college process is coming to an end as I transition into college this following school year.

What does being a first-generation student mean to you?
Being a first-generation student means alot to me and my family. As I achieved my academic goals and continued to step out of the box to be able to create generational history in my family.

What stage of the college process are you in?
As a rising junior, I have limited experience in the college application process. However, with guidance from previous upperclassmen, I was able to start my college list and personal statement while learning about financial aid options.

What does being a first-generation student mean to you?
Being a first-generation student allows me to stay grounded while navigating my career goals and ambitions. While there can be a lot of internalized pressure, I am proud to represent my community — my family — in higher education someday.
